Kid Friendly LLC is a NYC-based start-up looking for 1-2 interns. The company launched it`s first mobile app, iKidNY, 2 months ago and has already been praised in The New York Times, The New York Post, Good Day NY & Fox 5 News, AM-NY, Daily Candy, Macgasm, Time Out New York Kids, and much more. iKidNY is in the top 50 of all navigation apps in the iTunes store, right along side Bionic Eye and Tom Tom. Visit www.ikidny.com for more information. Our company is planning to launch 9 more mobile applications and a massive website by the end of 2010. We are looking for part-time interns who are willing to jump in head first. Interns will research, plan, communicate, sell, market, blog, tweet, plan events, develop partnerships, and much more. Interns must be go-getters and interested in mobile and web media, have lots of energy, be self-motivated, be well-spoken, organized, able to write blurbs, tweets, and other small copy, and be willing to spend time online. Must be competent in Excel, Word, and very social media savvy. Must have own notebook computer. Looking for interns with a strong desire to learn and a great work ethic. Office is located in Harlem on the express stop but much of the work can be accomplished from home. Office dress is casual. Internships will begin immediately, will continue indefinitely, and can be for college credit. Although they are unpaid internships, there will be sizable commission opportunities and well as the possibility of a paid position down the line.
